Giorgos Prokopiou

Prokopiou Giorgos was born in 1981 in Athens where he currently resides. He started playing the guitar at the age of 15 and at the age of 22 he started vocal lessons. He’s a proficient piano player and has received an honors degree in Harmony and Advanced Harmony from the Experimental Music Conservatory of Athens.

In 1998 he participated at the music band “Corona Bor”, with whom he released two music albums, the first in 2000 with the title “Real is” and the second in 2001 with the title “Like the giant hits the dwarf”. Since 2010 he’s the vocalist of the music band “Mother Of Millions”, with whom he released the album “Human” in 2014. Moreover, he has participated in Vangelis Gialamas solo album, entitled “Jazzment days”, recording vocals on the songs “Better me for the perfect you” and “Down”. In 2006 he played a fundamental role in the creation of POEM, as a singer and guitarist, releasing the album “The great secret show” in 2008, which is the band’s debut and gave them the opportunity to participate in very large gigs alongside established artists of the metal scene such as Ozzy Ozbourne, Paradise Lost, Pain Of Salvation, Burst, Rotting Christ, Mekong Delta, Katatonia, etc. In 2014, he sang with Paul Di ‘Anno at the historic stage of “Kittaro” Club in Athens.

The recent years he’s been giving vocal and guitar lessons. He has studied accounting and is presently the owner of a mobile shop in Athens.
